Here I am at the Kinesiology Schools Australia stand at the Mind, Body & Soul expo in Brisbane over the weekend. I’m 2nd from right next to Dr Susan Eardley PhD, Research Fellow at the University of Southampton (England) Faculty of Medicine. Dr Eardley recently completed a research project on the management of chronic lower back pain using kinesiology. It’s the first rigorous study of kinesiology to be conducted and produced exciting results – this stuff works! So privileged to work with such talented and inspiring people including Dr Eardley, fellow Kinesiologists Alison & Steve (far left and next to me) and two of my inspiring lecturers Danny Liddell & Bronwyn Kennedy (2nd & 3rd from left).

Construction of the clinic space is progressing – it should be ready for use in the coming months. It’s going to be a beautiful, peaceful space for treatments. Well worth the wait!

Hyperton-X

I’ve also recently completed a Hyperton-X course, giving me skills and knowledge in muscle stretch techniques. It has benefits not only for general health and wellbeing but can achieve impressive results for people with learning difficulties.

Busy Start to 2014

A busy start to 2014 – I’ve commenced studying for my Diploma in Kinesiology and am well underway to clients being able to claim health fund rebates for my services. Won’t be too long now!
